How It Works

Searching

1. Describe what you are looking for -- filters, sorting, and date ranges all work in natural language
2. Results appear in a table, 10 certifications per page
3. Navigate with "next page", "previous page", etc.
4. Filters are preserved as you page through results

Updating

1. Identify the certification by supplier code, domain, and start effective date
2. Specify the changes -- which fields and new values
3. Confirm -- the Champion shows what will change
4. The update is automatically verified by re-fetching the record

Tips and Best Practices

• Sort by expiration date to see the most urgent certifications first
• Certifications expiring in less than 30 days are automatically flagged with urgency markers
• Remarks are limited to 40 characters and certification references to 20 characters -- keep them concise
• Use date ranges in filters: "Show certifications expiring between March and June"
• After updating, the Champion automatically verifies the change by re-reading the record

Troubleshooting

"Certification not found"

Certifications are identified by the combination of supplier code, domain context, and start effective date. Verify all three values are correct.

"Remarks too long"

The remarks field is limited to 40 characters. Shorten your text and try again.

Update does not apply

• Verify you have write permissions for supplier certifications
• Check that the field values are valid (use "What approval statuses are available?" to check)
• Ensure dates are in YYYY-MM-DD format
