Find Orders Ready to Close

Identify production orders where the completed quantity matches the expected quantity:

"Show production orders ready to close"

"Any production orders that can be closed?"

Find Expiring Orders

Spot orders approaching their due date that may need attention:

"Show expiring production orders"
"What production orders are nearing their due date at site 10-100?"

Close Production Orders

Batch-close completed orders with a single confirmation:

"Close these production orders"
"Close the orders on this page"

Look Up Reference Data

Check valid codes before filtering:

"What sites can I use?"
"Show me valid site codes"

How It Works

Finding Orders

1. Ask to see orders -- specify "ready to close" or "expiring" and optionally filter by site
2. The Champion validates your site code
3. Results appear in a table sorted by due date
4. Navigate pages with "next page", "previous page", etc.

Displayed fields: Work Order Number, Item Code, Site, Status, Expected Qty, Completed Qty, Due Date

Closing Orders

1. Search first -- find orders ready to close
2. Request closure -- the Champion shows which orders will be closed
3. Confirm -- say "yes" to close the batch, "no" to cancel
4. Only orders where completed quantity equals expected quantity can be closed

Scenario: Check for orders that might miss their due date.

Tips and Best Practices

• Filter by site to focus on your location
• The Champion shows orders sorted by due date so the most urgent appear first
• You can navigate through pages and close each batch as you go
• After closing, search again to confirm everything is cleaned up

Troubleshooting

"Invalid site code"

Ask the Champion for valid codes: "What sites can I use?"

Cannot close an order

• The order must have completed quantity equal to expected quantity
• The order must not already be closed (status "C")
• Cumulative work order types cannot be closed through this Champion
